The award’s distinction lies in its internationally recognised judging panel, featuring experts from the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and the Association for Talent Development (ATD), ensuring a rigorous and globally benchmarked evaluation process.

  • The awards are open to individuals and organizations across public, private, and nonprofit sectors from in and outside Bahrain.

Judging Panel

The judging panel consists of distinguished professionals with expertise in HR and corporate management. The BSCM Excellence Award maintains the highest standards of integrity and expertise in its judging process. For the 2026 awards, we are proud to announce that our judging panel includes senior representatives and subject matter experts from:

  • IFTDO: Bringing a global perspective on human resource development and training, IFTDO's involvement ensures that our evaluation aligns with international best practices and innovation.
  • CIPD: As the professional body for HR and L&D, CIPD representatives contribute unparalleled expertise in HR strategy, employee relations, and talent management.
  • ATD: With its focus on talent development and organizational effectiveness, ATD's presence on the panel guarantees an insightful assessment of learning initiatives, performance improvement, and leadership development.

General Eligibility

  • Nominees must represent organizations operating within private, governmental and civil sectors.
  • Nominated initiatives or practices must have been implemented within the last 2 years preceding the submission deadline.
  • Applications must be submitted in English and supported by accessible online hyperlinks (e.g., company websites, Google Drive links, etc.).

Awards Specific Legibility

  • Best CEO Award
    • Must currently hold the position of CEO or equivalent senior executive role.
    • Proven success in implementing strategic HR management practices with measurable outcomes.
  • Best CHRO/CPO Award
    • Must be a current Head of HR or Chief People Officer, or an equivalent senior HR leadership role.
    • Demonstrated contribution to organizational development and employee satisfaction.
  • HR Champion of the Year Award
    • Nomination must come from colleagues, the organization, or the community.
    • Clear evidence of ethical leadership and positive influence.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award
    • Active employee involvement in CSR initiatives with measurable organizational and community outcomes.
  • Innovation & Digital Excellence in HR Award
    • Integration of advanced HR technologies with clear impact on people and performance.
  • Workplace Wellness and Employee Wellbeing Award

    • Must be a non-profit or civil society organization with inclusive HR strategies.

    • Active HR involvement in a non-profit setting with a track record of ethical, inclusive leadership.

What Type of Evidence Is Accepted?

  • Quantitative Data: HR metrics, KPIs, survey results, retention rates, engagement scores, performance outcomes, or any measurable indicators that demonstrate impact.
  • Qualitative Evidence: Testimonials, case studies, success stories, internal reports, or feedback from employees, volunteers, or beneficiaries.
  • Supporting Materials:
    • Screenshots or links to internal dashboards, portals, or HR systems (with access enabled).
    • PDFs or Word documents detailing implemented initiatives, policies, or programs.
    • Photos or media coverage from CSR or wellness initiatives.
    • Official certificates, program brochures, or HR campaign materials.
  • Web-Based Evidence: Use Google Drive, Dropbox, company websites, or any cloud-based system with public or shared access (no password protection).
